Evolving games with organizations

Challenge
Prepare pre-school children in the classroom for a visit to a theater play.
‘Voor de show’ has been around for quite some time, originally helping primary school children attend theatre performances with their schools. As the organization continues to grow and evolve, so too must the game. That’s why we’ve collaborated to expand the platform’s reach, making it accessible and engaging for preschool children as well. This involved updating the 360° environment and designing new mini-games specifically tailored to younger audiences.
Approach
The game ‘Voor de show’ existed already.
To bring this vision to life, we used a web-based Vue environment to develop the new mini-games and refine the existing ones. This allowed us to iterate quickly, test ideas in real-time, and ensure the experience was intuitive and engaging for preschool children.
We also brought the updated platform into actual preschools, observing how children interacted with it in a real-world setting. These testing sessions gave us valuable insights and helped drive even more focused iterations.
Result
Creating seamless extensions
By combining updated visuals with playful, age-appropriate interactions, we created a seamless extension of the original platform that maintains its educational value while being fun and accessible for a younger audience.
